Darrell Marks

      is a self taught artist who was born in 1962 in Australia, as a child he had a keen passion for drawing and art, but as he grew into his teenage years the passion faded for fast cars, motorcycles and parties. In his early 20s Darrell rediscovered his ability to create by the means of landscape oil painting and endeavoured to pursue a hobby in that field, he was also encouraged by his parents at that time to study for a carrier in graphic design but unfortunately due to circumstances beyond his control it was never to be. Instead Darrell ventured onto a path that would, for the next 15 years, take him around the world, where he would eventually settle in Germany in 1999 and discover a great talent for Airbrushing. He now devotes all his spare time and energy pursuing his abilities as a portrait artist, childrens book illustrator & Writer in Langenau, where he lives today with his wife and two children.


He still dabbles with the brush, creating abstract and landscape art. 

He is a member of the "International Art Society ORCA"
Darrell has had his work published in Internationally recognised magazines, and has also published two books of his own.
